Change starts with us and our decisions. Small actions can make a big positive impact. We invite visitors to Pärnu Centre to reduce their footprint and create positive change together. Our actions speak for themselves!
Here are some options for selling, donating and properly sorting your products at Pärnu Centre.
CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
♻️ You can bring clean and undamaged clothes, footwear, books, music, tableware, toys, household textiles, hobby and sports equipment, and small household appliances to the Re-use Centre’s donation booth (Uuskasutuskeskus).
♻️ You can trade your second-hand clothes at the Great Flea Market (Suur Kirbukas), which takes place every summer. The event is organised by Pärnu Centre and Basaar.
♻️ Sort through your textiles and bring them to H&M (all textiles, including clothes, children’s clothes and home textiles).
♻️ Shoes, jewellery, bags, suitcases and watches will be repaired by a shoemaker at our Centre.
BOOKS AND MAGAZINES
♻️ You can bring any unused books and exchange them for free books located behind the Expressions store in the 2nd floor gallery of Pärnu Centre.
HOME AND INTERIOR GOODS
♻️ The Re-use Centre’s (Uuskasutuskeskus) donation booth does not accept furniture items, but you have the option to call for a collection van in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu and Paide free of charge.
♻️ For safety reasons, the Re-use Centre does not accept car seats for infants and toddlers, and CRT TVs.
ELECTRONICS
♻️ Old batteries and accumulators can be brought to the Selver store.
♻️ Teletec offers repairs for mobile phones and small electronic devices.
MEDICINAL PRODUCTS
♻️ Leftover medicinal products (prescription and over-the-counter only) can be brought to Südameapteek. Beauty products, food supplements, etc. are not accepted.
PACKAGING
♻️ I.L.U. store collects packaging for beauty products. See the terms and conditions here.
ASTRI GIFT CARD IS REUSABLE
♻️ Expired Astri gift vouchers can be returned to the Pärnu Centre collection box, located near the Taluturg store.
Please note while in the Centre that the sorting stations/bins in our public areas and carefully select the appropriate bin. This helps to conserve nature and contributes to the possibility of remanufacturing.
